Wound management Part 1: stopper pad Injury case history by Caroline Calder
ABSTRACT: This is the first in a series of three case studies on different types of wounds. This article focuses on an unusual laceration of a stopper pad and the process of wound heating following initial emergency presentation.

Caroline qualified in 2001 after attending Myerscough College, whilst working in Carlisle. For the last six years, she has worked at a small animal practice in Durham. Since attending a CPD course in 2010, she has developed a keen interest in wound management.
