Recent market research has shown that 8 in 10 veterinary nurses are interested in CPD support on the topic of parasiticides. On this basis the Zoetis exhibition stand at last year’s BVNA Congress was themed around an interactive module to test knowledge on parasites. It proved very popular, so we have more practical learning initiatives lined up for you this year.

During VNAM we are pleased to bring you a free online webinar to help you confidently approach conversations with owners around parasiticide products.

“How do you recommend parasite treatments to your clients?” will be held on Tuesday 20th May 2025 at 7.30pm.

Zoetis Veterinary Consultant Ruth Moxon MVB MRCVS will discuss how to structure advice, to take the conversation away from the idea of ‘selling’ and towards a confident recommendation.

The course will cover:

  • What matters to owners when it comes to product choice and willingness to pay
  • Structured advice and recommendations
  • Confident communication of the features and benefits of parasiticide products

Later in the year we plan to share knowledge from veterinary experts within our dermatology and pain management teams, via further webinars and regional CPD events.
