As for practical exams, you can learn in the same way as written exams. If you have studied to become a Veterinary Nurse you will have experienced the dreaded OSCE examination. It took me two attempts to pass this examination, purely because I had no idea how to revise for it the first time round and felt under pressure. The truth is if you have got this far you know everything you need to! Do not doubt yourself. The best advice I can give for this practical examination is, learn the steps like the back of your hand by re-reading each task and then acting it out as if you are doing it in front of an examiner. My friend and I felt equally nervous for this examination as we did not pass it the first time. However, it helped me to know where I went wrong and to not make the same mistakes the second time around. I utilised my friends and together we all passed on our second attempt. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you do not pass first time. You must remember you have got this far, and everyone learns at a different pace. Find the best way you revise whether its posters, reading, writing or watching videos and utilise that. Do not doubt yourself. You can do it.
