BVNA President Lyndsay Hughes commented:
“I would like to thank all those who applied for a seat on BVNA Council. We received a fantastic response from our members, and it was incredibly difficult to shortlist from the dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate SVNs and RVNs who put themselves forward. We look forward to ratifying the successful candidates onto BVNA Council at the AGM in October.
“We feel the new application process introduced by BVNA earlier this year has been greatly successful, attracting candidates with a diverse range of backgrounds, skills and experience – whose valuable insights will enable us to represent the veterinary nursing profession more inclusively.
“We are also pleased to announce the incoming officer team; a group of BVNA Council members who have committed additional time and efforts to serve the veterinary nursing profession by taking on a more senior role within the team. It is a privilege to work alongside the dedicated veterinary nurses who make up our entire Council, and who so willingly volunteer their time to represent and champion the veterinary nursing profession.”
