Abstract: Self-care is the practice of setting aside time for positive, restorative and self-nurturing activities. Its aim is to reduce stress and anxiety, and to improve wellbeing and self esteem. It is an important element of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Mindful self-care introduces mindfulness techniques to
self-care activities. By being more aware of your internal needs and external demands, you will be better able to understand the type of self-care you need.
