Given how much time we spend at work it is hardly surprising that many of us meet our partners in the workplace. However, this can lead to problems for the employer, the individuals concerned and their colleagues. Although the existence of a personal relationship at work does not necessarily preclude the two parties from working together or affect their promotion opportunities, such relationships should be carefully and sensitively handled by all concerned.
