Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month (VNAM) is over for another 12 months, what an amazing job you have all done with getting involved in promoting our profession, whatever your contribution however big or small, we would like to thank you all for your support. Don’t forget that it’s ok to carry on promoting veterinary nursing throughout the year!

This year we saw another overwhelming response for requests for the free promotional display pack, our best yet – and we can’t wait to see how you transformed your client waiting room or college noticeboard!

The official competition closes on Monday 5th June, so don’t delay in submitting your evidence for your chance to win some Amazon vouchers. There are prizes for winners and runner-ups in all 3 categories so don’t miss out!

A full report of all winners and runners up of all 3 categories will be detailed in the on the BVNA website, as well as on our dedicated ‘National Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month’ Facebook page.

BVNA had a presence at the National Pet Show, on the 6 & 7 May at London Excel, as part of our Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month (VNAM) campaign to help educate the general public about the diverse roles of RVNs and the importance of the veterinary nursing profession whilst creating awareness of responsible pet care.

BVNA provided educational talks on both days which proved incredibly popular and attracted much attention resulting in many questions on a career in veterinary nursing and the role of a veterinary nurse within general practice. To see a full report of the event please visit our VN Awareness Month website page.
