Join us on the 27th of May at 7pm for a FREE online webinar with Pet Blood Bank UK! This webinar aims to raise awareness to pet owners and the general public and encourage people to get involved, spread the word or register their pet as a donor. You can find out more about the event here. The webinar will be produced by Katie Spackman, BVNA’s Head of Membership and Events, chaired by Nikki McLeod, BVNA Regional Representative and presented by Sapphire McInnes, Pet Blood Bank UK’s Donor Supervisor.

The webinar will include information on who Pet Blood Bank UK are, what they do and why they do it, canine and feline donor criteria, how dogs donate and what they do with the donated blood, case studies/stories of saving lives and how pet owners can get involved through fundraising, registering their pet, volunteering on a session and/or donating.

The webinar will also be streamed though Facebook Live via the BVNA VNAM page.

We would love it if you could share the details above and Pet Blood Bank UK Images here with your clients and colleagues to spread the word.

We are also asking you to let your clients/colleagues know about Category E for Pet Owners, which is one of our VNAM competitions. We are asking pet owners to take a picture of their pet and email it to us at bvna@bvna.co.uk, completing the sentence “I love my Veterinary Nurse because…..” Competition rules, posters and prizes can be found here.
