Are you a veterinary nurse? Do you have experience of being a mentor, being mentored, or not?

The RCVS are currently working to develop a new course for the RCVS Academy to help support veterinary nursing mentors and develop future mentors within practice – whether it be mentoring PSP or returning nurses, newly registered nurses, of providing general mentorship within the nursing team – and are seeking veterinary nurses from all walks of life to share their views to aid in the creation of course content.

Their Nurse Mentor course will be the third of a suite of three courses designed to help to guide veterinary nurses starting out or returning to practice and the mentors who will support them through this process.

The RCVS want to know from you, veterinary nurses, what you think makes a good mentor and what skills effective mentors need.

To have your say, please complete the short survey at forms.office.com/e/yRBxq2d0pe

They would be grateful if you could distribute this to other veterinary nurses so that they can obtain as broad a view as possible.
