We’ve listened to our members who may be frustrated at just how long it is taking to protect the ‘veterinary nurse’ title in law. We hear you, and you can be assured that BVNA will continue to campaign until this is achieved.

Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month (VNAM) is always a perfect example of what can be achieved if we all use our voices collectively. Now is the time for the entire profession to keep up momentum on ‘Protect the Title’ too.

In this online discussion panel for VNAM 2024, we will cover the progress in our ‘Protect the Title’ campaign that has been made so far. We’ll discuss why it’s so important that we continue to support the efforts towards overhauling the legislation which no longer reflects the profession we are today. We’ll look at the possible opportunities and progression that renewed legislation would provide to veterinary nurses. And we’ll discuss how we all have the power to bring about meaningful change amongst our teams, even whilst we’re waiting for this change in law.
