This webinar was held on Tuesday the 23rd of March 2021 at 19:30 for those in the veterinary nursing and wider profession, in regards to changes to be made to Schedule 3.

We are asking those in the veterinary nursing profession to think about and comment on the recommendations made by the RCVS Legislative Working Party to amend the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. This is via a consultation document which we think is a bit daunting. So we invited a panel of veterinary professionals to discuss the proposed changes live at this webinar, so you can ask questions. This second webinar looks at the recommendations made that cover assuring practice standards, introducing a modern ‘Fitness to Practise’ regime and modernising RCVS registration processes.

We were joined by lots of attendees and viewers on Facebook for this webinar, where Matt Rendle, Racheal Marshall and Bertie Holgate shared background information on the recommendations made by the LWP on the reform of the VSA 1966. Our President, Jo Oakden was an excellent host with a substantial amount of knowledge on the subject, as she was a member of the LWP and relevant committees. You can catch up on the video here:
