Lecture Synopsis:
Cytology can sometimes be a daunting task for nurses, especially when asked to examine slides to a aid a vet in their diagnosis work ups or in critical patients.
This session will help nurses learn how to correctly use and care for the microscope, have more confidence looking down the microscope at urine, ears and blood smears and be empowered to go outside of their comfort zone to create and examine slides to aid in house results.

- Learn how to prepare samples for in house examination.
- Identifying common cells.
- How you can assist the vets during their diagnosis work ups.
