On Saturday 8th October, AWF will be hosting a discussion at BVNA Congress on the extreme conformation crisis and the role of the vet nurse.
This session, Welfare and extreme conformations – let’s give oxygen to nurses’ views, is about opening a safe dialogue to explore the role the vet nurse can play in the extreme conformation crisis, and to empower nurses to have a positive impact.
We have an excellent panel who will set the scene by providing their own perspective on the welfare crisis:
Dr Dan O’Neill, Associate Professor Companion Animal Epidemiology, RVC
Lacey Pitcher, RVN / Vets: Stay, Go, Diversify
Robyn Lowe, RVN / Director, Veterinary Voices UK / Trustee, Vetlife
This will be an interactive conversation, so we welcome delegates to ask questions and open up about their own experiences!
The AWF debate takes place 2.45-3.45pm at room Ludlow 2, Telford International Centre, and questions can be asked via the floor or the BVNA Congress app.
