There are 4 BVNA award categories for this year – Nominations will open on 1^st June and close on 31^st July. The four awards are:

• VNJ Writer of the Year Award 2023

This award is for articles which have encouraged discussions, driven positive change, or improved clinical standards in practice. Whose article has inspired you?

Articles to have been published in VNJ between August 2022 and July 2023.

Open to members and non-members.

• BVNA Vet of the Year

Recognising the Vet lead team, this award recognises the veterinary surgeon who actively promotes and empowers nurses

• BVNA Equine Vet Nurse of the Year

A celebration of the role equine RVNs play in the nursing profession. This award is for the equine RVN/REVN who promotes excellence in their role to clients and/or colleagues

• BVNA Nursing Empowerment Award

To recognise the veterinary nurse that has promoted their practice to clients and employees, or who tirelessly promotes others.
