Lecture Synopsis;
This lecture will provide attendees with a basic introduction to seal pup assessment and initial care in the veterinary practice setting. There will be a focus on identifying species-specific information which veterinary staff should be aware of when working with seals.

- List some common problems which rescued seal pups present with
- Outline measures that can be taken to help stabilise rescued seal pups
