BVNA Congress 2025 promises to bring the veterinary nursing community together – to learn from and be inspired by each other, and to celebrate BVNA’s 60th year of representing the profession.
Taking place at Telford International Centre between Friday 10th and Sunday 12th October 2025, this year’s early bird registrations close at the end of July – meaning there are just two weeks left to gain access to a significantly discounted ticket rate.
BVNA Congress is long-established as the UK’s largest event dedicated to veterinary nurses. The event provides collaborative, practical and hands-on learning, in addition to five full-day lecture theatres across all three days. This year sees BVNA continue a theme of ‘Progression’, to mirror the association’s 60th anniversary year and recognise the progress made in the VN profession during this time.

Progression
Each morning includes a headline ‘Progression’ stream. These sessions aim to inspire veterinary nurses to recognise their ability to lead and advocate for the patients and people around them, whether in a leadership role or not; to identify opportunities where RVNs could be better utilised in their own workplace; and to be aware of the vast opportunities available by being a part of the VN profession.
Speaking on the topic of Progression, BVNA is honoured to be joined by keynote speaker Helen Ballantyne on Saturday 11th October. Helen is a renowned dual-qualified medical and veterinary nurse, currently working as a Transplant Coordinator for the NHS. She has developed a strong interest in the concept of One Health, and will be sharing her learnings from both human-centred and veterinary nursing. Delegates can look forward to this inspirational session which highlights both the progress and significant future potential of the veterinary nursing profession.
