Hilary Orpet is co-author of the Handbook of Veterinary Nursing and also co-creator of the Ability Model. She is a senior lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College and co-course director for the Foundation and BSc in Veterinary Nursing degree courses. She spent 12 years on RCVS VN council, sitting on a range of committees – including the education committee. She is now on the examination appeals committee for the RCVS.
