RCVS Day One Competences, Skills and Professional Behaviours for Veterinary Nurses
Calling all SVNs and RVNs! Did you know that the consultation for the RCVS Day One Competences, Skills and Professional Behaviours for Veterinary Nurses review closes on Monday 22nd December?
This is your chance to say what you think and give valuable feedback that could help shape your profession!
Your participation is vital if we want to give a true representation of what veterinary nurses in the UK really think about the proposed updates. The competencies, skills and behaviours are essential as they ensure that student veterinary nurses have met the minimal clinical and professional requirements before joining the RCVS register. They help to ensure that newly qualified nurses are safe and competent to practise.
Not sure if you need to fill in the consultation or what you need to consider? Then have a listen to this interview podcast, where BVNA President Alex Taylor interviews Junior Vice President Charlotte Pace and Head of Learning and Development Nikki Ruedisueli about why this consultation is so important to the profession.
